Oh, Surly! was a parody of
the strip Oh, Mumford! by Neil Golden, which was then appearing
in The Omen's rival publication, The Forward. Naturally,
you won't get it unless you read some Oh, Mumford!s (Go here
to do so.), but there are some Surly Boy completists out there. I think.
Hell, while I'm at it, here's another lost
Surly Boy strip about this guy I knew. Nobody will get this strip ever.
